Packed up and ready to go

My "plan" in the loosest sense of the word is to go to CA for about a month and apply for jobs like crazy. As I mentioned in my previous post, I want to find a marketing/advertising job in the social/new media industry, so SF is definitely the place to be for that. 

I'm going to stay with a cousin who lives in the city for the first two weeks and I've got one interview set for this Wednesday (the morning after I arrive), but thereafter it's all unknown! All I do know is I'm going to do whatever I can to get a job.

thYou're probably wondering why I gave myself only a month considering the average time to find a job is ~3-6 months. Well, this limited time frame is in place for 3 reasons 1) it gives me greater motivation to really work hard to get a job 2)  it's a challenge to find a job in 1 month, and I like challenges, and 3) Diwali is on October 28, and I'd like to be home for a couple days to celebrate with my family :) and say bye to everyone one last time. Then come back here for good.

I'm all packed and ready to go. Here goes nothing!
